There are a number of different ways to show details on a pet in photography. Get close up, use a macro lens, highlights… sometimes, ok, a lot of the time I like to use selective focus to show a detail. It’s nice to focus on the area you want to and have everything else just mush together and I don’t have to drag out any extra equipment.
Here are a few close ups of Mr. Radley.
I always want close up of his eyes and his eye brows. They aren’t as obvious as some dogs eye brows but they are so cute and expressive.
His upper lip.
His big barrel chest with white hairs.
His paw and super long nails that he doesn’t like to have trimmed.
